my summer goals as a photographer!

This is it -- the last hurrah of summer!! I am SO thankful I've gotten the opportunity to reach my personal photography goals for the summer, and grow as a photographer!

First at the beginning of summer I had the opportunity of stretching my limits (my camera's limits!) and creating some fine art images with the lovely Kelsey Dylan. It was a wonderful exercise in creative low-light/night photography, and I'm quite pleased with the results. The images are sweet, spooky, expressive, and ethereal...exactly what I was going for!

My next goal of the summer summer was to explore astrophotography and capture some starry night shots at one of my favorite hidden spots in nature. The results are so beautiful!! I'm thankful to have captured the feel of this special place.

Now though it feels like playtime is over, and it's time to get back to serious business - fall is busy season for family photos, high school senior portraits, and more!
