This is it -- the last hurrah of summer!! I am SO thankful I've gotten the opportunity to reach my personal photography goals for the summer, and grow as a photographer! First at the beginning of summer I had the opportunity of stretching my limits (my camera's limits!) and creating some fine art images with the lovely Kelsey Dylan. It was a wonderful exercise in creative low-light/night photography, and I'm quite pleased with the results. The images are sweet, spooky, expressive, and ethereal...exactly what I was going for! My next goal of the summer summer was to explore astrophotography and capture some starry night shots at one of my favorite hidden spots in nature. The results are so beautiful!! I'm thankful to have captured the feel of this special place. Now though it feels like playtime is over, and it's time to get back to serious business - fall is busy season for family photos, high school senior portraits, and more! Please enjoy a sneak peek of one family's sweet August session with me - and stop by for a round of mini sessions next weekend- my newest fall addition! Revised minis session dates: SATURDAY ONLY!

We had the perfect location planned for this shoot, along with beautiful weather and a willing preschooler (not to mention his helpful big sister)! Photography is a gift that can be cherished for years to come, for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries or simply to commemorate a special time in your lives. Whatever it is that you want out of your session, it's my job to create that, and deliver a meaningful and valuable experience. Please get in touch and let me know what type of session is on your mind right now - I'd love to hear! Just wanted to pop in and say how HAPPY I am to finally be seeing some spring color - feeling some sunshine on my face and getting to be out amongst the flowers. Please get ahold of me soon if you would like to get on my calendar for spring shoots - we still have some great options for flowering fields, trees, shrubs and more beautiful backgrounds. And SPRING MINI SESSIONS were just announced - these are a great option for getting just a little taste of my photos, including updated family photos or senior yearbook portraits! As always, don't forget to get on my newsletter (sign-up on the bottom of this page) to stay in touch!
I'm so excited to be announcing holiday mini sessions THIS coming Saturday, October 19th! Mini sessions are perfect for updating your annual family photo, getting to know a new photographer, or even capturing great images to use as gifts (in this case, in time for using for your holiday cards, too!). Don't forget to sign up for my email newsletter below to get first dibs on all future mini sessions! These mini sessions will be held in a beautiful location in the Snoqualmie River Valley, which is Indigenous Snoqualmie territory. UPDATE: These mini-sessions were SO FUN!! Please enjoy a few highlights below. It was so great getting to meet so many families and couples! |
