I was so honored to be able to capture the end-of-the-year holiday party for the South Seattle-based Lactation Lounge, run by Camie Goldhammer, IBCLC and attended by the local families who receive support throughout the year from the free drop-in group. What a warm and welcoming atmosphere here, helping new parents adjust to life with baby, addressing challenges (feeding or otherwise), and celebrating all that has been accomplished over the course of a year!

I'm SO excited for what this new year will bring, for me (meeting new people, photographing new moments and ideas), and for you!
I'm hosting my first ever round of STUDIO MINI SESSIONS soon - a day of headshots and personal branding in the Central District neighborhood of Seattle, helping you to bring your 2019 dreams & goals to life. I also have a few limited family sessions available in this indoor space. Get ahold of me soon -- I would love to be a part of helping you ring in the new year!!
I am so excited to finally share this wedding with you!! Everything about this day was wonderful: fall sunshine, Converse sneakers worn by the wedding party, the bride and groom's children making everyone tear up... Of course, you cannot forget the cake cutting WITH A REAL KATANA SWORD!! 😯😯
And as well as the love between two incredible people, this celebration was made even more beautiful by the binding of their two families together in a personally meaningful place, surrounding by their entire community. What a true honor to be present for such love and JOY, and to capture the magic of this day!!
Thank you!!! <3
Hi there! I wanted to give you an idea of what a full storytelling session looks like when you book with me, so I'm sharing a recent fall family photoshoot. We caught the tail end of an autumn FULL of beautiful colors, and got to make a few new memories in the process! ❤
With up to 2 hours of shoot time, full storytelling sessions allow enough time for everyone to relax and get comfortable in front of the camera - super helpful with young children!! They allow enough time to tell a story utilizing both documentary images (a perspective on your life that you'll miss decades down the road) and lifestyle images (more classically styled photos with gentle guidance from me). What you won't get with me is dozens of photos that all look the same. But you WILL receive a collection of unique, handcrafted images with attention to detail, angle and emotion; images that tell an authentic story of YOU, with the environments and activities of your choosing.
If you are looking for a fun and meaningful experience with a mixture of images capturing both the mundane (those fleeting little moments that make you, you) as well as "something for the wall", please contact me today!!
I love it when a client comes to you with a vision and you're able to bring that to life for them! This is exactly what happened at a recent high school senior session - and, to boot I got to spend a gorgeous evening on the Eastside exploring a couple of amazing locations with this fun and very thoughtful young person! I LOVE the results, and hope you enjoy as well! I'm looking forward to more senior portrait sessions in the spring, for next year's 2020 grads!
