Photographing working farms is one of my very favorite things... why?? I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with other small business owners (having been one myself the past six years), and I especially love working with others who value people, and the planet. I hold a deep respect for the people who grow and produce the food that graces our table (and feeds our bellies). Besides, there is possibly nothing more adorable than getting to follow around baby goats on an early morning in the spring, at one of my favorite places. Enjoy a few of these shots from Growing Things Farm, a Certified Naturally Grown farm nestled in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley (indigenous Snoqualmie tribal land), and a huge shout out to farmer Michaele, as well!

This springtime family photography session was such a joy!! I love taking a documentary approach to capturing families, and allowing for the life of the people I'm photographing to unfold before me without too much fuss. I'm so thankful to be able to work with families in creating moments and photographs they can cherish for years to come, and thankful to live and work in this beautiful Pacific Northwest, too (indigenous Coast Salish land).
